"Air Conditioned" Bed Makes Sleeping Cool

Sleep experts say that one of the most important factors in getting good shut-eye is doing so in a comfortable climate. Of course, this can be tough to accomplish when you live in a tiny house built 150 years ago with the insulation of a mosquito net and it's 103 degrees outside. Particularly if the air conditioning doesn't get to every corner of your house.
Enter Kuchofuku, a "bed" that uses dual fans to pull air in and circulate it through the cushion beneath you. The thing only weighs 5.3 pounds, and rolls up tightly so you can bring it with you on safari in Africa (just make sure you're staying at a fancy lodge that has AC power, since you'll need that to run this thing.)
Seems like a good way to save energy and keep your AC costs down. And this is one of those Japan-only gadgets that you can actually have delivered to the U.S. for $399.

I have MS, and the summer is agony for me. The heat really causes me problems. Even though my tiny house does have central AC, the insulation is not that good, and to keep the house completely cool, I would have to run the AC 24 hours a day...which would eventually break my AC and my bank account.
I would love to try out this bed! What an awesome idea!

I ALSO HAVE MS AND I WAKE UP SO MUCH BECAUSE IM HOT. IN THE DAY IM TIRED BECAUSE OF WAKING SO MANY TIMES IN THE NIGHT. I WOULD LOVE TO TRY THIS BED TO SEE IF IT HELPS. A PERSON COULD USE A TWIN ON ONE SIDE OF A LARGER BED AND YOUR PARTNER WOULDN'T HAVE TO BE AFFECTED BY IT EITHER.
