Customer #1 may be confused. I'll bet he's under the impression that he's waiting for the Ihoagie,..not the Iphone! Also, his Adidas sneakers have been selling since at least the late 70's. It doesn't make sense that he would wait in line for 3 days for the latest tech gizmo to come down the pike in a while,..but just the same seemingly happy to wear sneakers from when Reagan was in office! Someone please explain this to me.

This article is just an example of snobby, self-absorbed jerks who like to make fun of people for no real reason. I know it is completely insane to camp out for so long for the iphone, but who are you to make fun of them so badly and to insult their value in society as well as their wardrobe. I'm sorry, but if I found it worthwhile to spend time in line like them, I wouldn't be wearing nice clothes either. Why do you care anyway? I read this article to get some information about the people that were waiting so long and wound up with an unfulfilling, waste of time. I feel so strongly about how much time that I wasted and the angry negative people that wrote it, that I felt it necessary to write a comment about it. Is it really necessary to be this nasty? You must have a miserable, angry existence. Smile some more.

When I called Apple to inquire about locations they told me you can just order one online and depending upon how you have it shipped it could be sent overnight rush delivery. Think it was like $25. extra. Apple cost a lot of people money and frustration.

So at last Apples core customer base appears from out of the cracks of the earth. I always had a sneaking feeling they were all poser wannabes. AS the great P.T. Barnum said "There's a sucker born every second."
PS to the IPhone losers... My Ocean and my BF"S Verizon Chocolate already does all that IPhone does for a lot less cash.

JD....?? why do you see him as 'confused"??
...what difference does it make how a person is dressed when they go shopping? If this man wearing the "adidas shoes" that you made fun of, chose to wear "black & white catfish hightops from the 70's, red & white stripe thongs, a neon green double breasted tuxedo jacket & a purple kango covering his porkchop sideburns, camped out on the sidewalk for the whole weekend....that's his business. If it doesn't bother him....it shouldn't bother you. Personally I don't think much of the new phone but for those who got all excited and went thru all these changes to get one....hey, that's their preference. In this life, you do what makes YOU happy as long as it doesn't harm anybody else.I don't see this man as a threat to anybody else.

it would be nice to see people lined up for something that really makes sense, like church! you don't see lines and people camping out to go into church.
