While monitoring an underground chat room known to be a warehouse for stolen credit card info, the Internet security firm CardCops came upon a credit card thief completely unaware that he himself had been duped. A chat user calling himself "Supra" was documented trying to sell the
personal info belonging to Herman Munster. Not the actor who played Herman Munster -- the fictional character, complete with his fictional address, 1313 Mockingbird Lane.
According to CardCops, "Supra" wasn't trying to sell fake information, but believed the details he had to be real – something made possible, no doubt, by the fact that he was logged in from overseas. Said Dan Clements, president of CardCops, "He's probably not watching any reruns of
'The Munsters' on TV Land."

The credit card issuers, and holders, have eevery opportunity to reduce credit card for by a high margin.
There is plenty of room on the front of credit cards for a picture and a one liner that states Picture ID Required.
Merchants who don't check ID should be held accountable as should credit card issuers who issue cards witout the picture and picture ID requirement, not the card holder.
The PIN could also be increased to 6 numbers. If we can remember a hundred telephone numbers. a 6 digit PIN should be no problem.
