YouTube Coming to the iPhone

Well, it looks like Apple is just going to trickle out a news an iPhone-news-item a day until the June 29 launch date. Today's tidbit: iPhone users will be able to stream YouTube videos via either Wi-Fi or EDGE. Steve Jobs had hinted about this a couple of weeks ago, but now it's official.
The YouTube on iPhone deal is possible becasue YouTube is now providing its videos in the H.264 video format, which is the same kind used with iTunes. The good news is that H.264 offers better video quality and uses up less battery-life than the Flash-based YouTube videos of today.
Starting today, YouTube videos are also available to AppleTV users.
