Sunny Skies with a Chance of FalloutThough CBS's Jericho wasn't picked up for a second season here in the U.S., it might play well in the Czech Republic. There, some pranksters hacked into an automated weather camera showing an always-on panorama of the countryside. Once in, they dropped a fake nuclear explosion into the middle of the valley, which was then broadcast live on Czech TV. It's not clear how exactly the doomsday jokesters pulled it off.

PS3 Too Expensive says Sony CEO
Sony's chief executive Howard Stringer has admitted that the price of the PS3 is too high compared to the competition. He didn't say exactly if a price cut is coming or how much it would be, but implied that we'll be seeing a drop before the holiday season.

Less than a month after MySpace gave authorities information on members who are sex offenders, the state of Texas has used that information to arrest seven people. The seven were all charged with parole violations or failing to register as sex offenders.

Swedish Site Takes Openness Too Far
Some Swedes are beginning to protest the Web site Ratsit.se, which enables any Swedish citizen to learn all about the income and debts of any other Swedish citizen, legally and free of charge. In response, fees have been applied and a new policy enacted that will alert those who have had checks run on them, telling them who was doing the checking.

Jericho has been renewed for Season 2 beginning in the Fall.
Jericho reruns begin July 6 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
