The judge was out of line and looking to make a name for himself. Neither YOUR nor I would have received three days, max, with community service had we been in the exact situation. I know this for fact...I work in L.A. Courts.
Sheriff Baca was within in rights to reassign the prisoner as he saw fit based upon his assessment of the situation and his jail facility. This judge is a control freak that needs to be removed from the bench. He's so totally dazzled by Hollywood that he's socking it to them HARDER than the average person would get. NOW....YOU TELL ME WHERE THAT'S FAIR???
