A New Color in the Zune RainbowAnother day, another new Zune color.

You can now add red alongside white, black, brown, orange, hot pink, regular pink, gray and 'Halo'-themed. Other than the new paint-job, though, this is of course the exact same Zune it's always been: 30 Gigabyte hard drive, 3-inch screen, all but useless Wi-Fi features, etc.

The red Zune will initially be offered as a limited edition through Amazon and Target until June 10th, after which it will be available for $220 from other major retailers as well.

For the next color update, we're hoping Microsoft's Zune team takes a cue from the Xbox 360 Elite people. When they slapped a coat of black paint on an existing product, they at least had the decency to add some new features.
