Robot Lawn Mower Kills Man

On the list of Things That We Don't Enjoy Doing, "mowing the lawn" hovers right up there near the top, sandwiched between "going to the dentist" and "getting out of bed in the morning". And that was before we heard about murderous robot lawnmowers.

It turns out that a 45 year-old man from Ballerup (a city located northwest of Copenhagen) was cutting the grass with a remote-controlled lawn mower on a slope; when the machine's balance was thrown off, it fell down and over him. One of the blades struck him in the head, and he was killed immediately.

While our spite for lawn mowing will certainly remain, we're thinking of sticking to the manual kind rather than robotic machines with names like "Spider ILD 01".

Watch the sales video and be very afraid.
