The Web's Biggest Time Hogs

Instant Messaging
We love our IM, and so do most people under the age of 29, but boy does it take up a lot of our time when sometimes a simple phone call would do. Time consumption aside, instant messaging is still the king of online communication. Over 75 percent of teens already prefer it over e-mail, and users between the ages of 19-29 check their IM several times a day, with almost half (44 percent) sending 26 or more messages a day, according to a recent AP-AOL instant messaging trends poll. Hey, it may take up your time, but at least it doesn't take you away from the people you know and love.
