The Web's Biggest Time Hogs

Napster, Rhapsody, and Other Subscription Download Sites
iTunes may be the most popular online music store, but because you have to pay for the privilege of listening to each and every track, it's easy enough to break away. But try ripping yourself from online subscription services such as Napster, Rhapsody, URGE, and Yahoo! Music Unlimited, which let you download all-you-can-eat-music for a monthly fee of around $10. That subscription fee buys you music licenses, which let you listen to those tracks as often as you want as long as you keep paying the monthly fee. Essentially, it's like winning an unlimited shopping spree at a record store (or iTunes, for that matter). You'll start off queuing up all the new releases, but before long, you'll find yourself replacing your entire CD collection, just because you can!
