When social-networking pioneer Friendster launched back in 2003, it was addictive enough and featured a relatively rarified clientele updating its home pages and adding people to its friend lists. But then MySpace came out and blew Friendster out of the water. Why? Partly because it was and remains popular with Web-agile youths, and partly because the service offers so much more than simply e-mailing the friends of your friends or updating your page. From blogs and slide shows to demo songs, ringtones, and more, nearly all of which can be added to your home page, My Space remains one of the biggest time-suckers out there, prompting this quiz and these tips to try and kick a MySpace addiction.
