Getting involved in online gaming may at first seem like an innocent pastime. A few minutes of poker never hurt anyone, right? How about a round of 'Scrabble' against a kid in Minnesota? Maybe it's time to slay a few Orcs in 'World of Warcraft'. Before you know it, that "few minutes" has become hours and you're up until 3:00am on a school night.
Addiction to online gaming can be extreme: Some people have died from exhaustion after being up for days just to get in a couple rounds of 'Starcraft.' According to the NPD Group, Xbox 360 users spend the most amount of time online, with an average of approximately 7.1 hours per week. The PlayStation 3 came in second at 6.1 hours a week, while PC/Mac users spent about 5.8 hours online a week.

These type sites are some of the biggest time wasters out there, at least for me :)

Oh yes I am a gammer. I start at 10pm then my husband says its almost 4 am come to bed, glad I got help staying off of Sony's ever quest!!!!! its the worst addition!

Scrabble is awesome! I have ongoing games constantly set up with each one of my elderly parents. They look forward to this so much that it is worth the time spent involved. It also keeps our brains from getting dust free, a sign of aging.

well world of warcraft is an mmorpg....its a game in which u get to play with ppl all around the world...very fun a good way to waste a few hrs ><
