Well, of course, if you set out to disprove something, you're going to show your evidence (if any) that appears to disprove it, but downplay evidence to the contrary (if any). Looks to me like that statement "in an attempt to...etc." came from a hurried and perhaps scientifically illiterate reporter trying to summarize thoughtlessly.  The study may be questionable, but not because of a media person's misunderstanding of scientific methodology.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[DumbDoc]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Nov 21st 2007 6:18PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
