Out of all the presidential hopefuls gunning for the White House, so far Hillary Clinton is proving to be the most adept at leveraging Campaign 2.0 technology for support. While last week she launched a
text messaging campaign, she's now on YouTube appealing to users to
help her pick a campaign song. The video points you to her Web site, where you're given
nine song choices to vote on. Clinton vows to go with the one that garners the most votes. Then, in a surprising show of humor, self-deprecation and personality, she splices in the now famous footage of her butchering the National Anthem back in Iowa and promises not to ever sing the winning campaign anthem -- unless she wins.
Sadly, the song choices leave a lot to be desired. 'Beautiful Day' by
U2? C'mon Hill, be a little more obvious. 'I'm a Believer' by
Smash Mouth? Gross! There are a few more crappy choices, including that one song
Jesus Jones had a hundred years ago, but one glaring omission: 'We Built This City' by
Starship. We defy anybody to name one song that's better for a campaign. Let us have it.

Whatever she chooses, it'll be better than Bush's favorite song!
