YouTube to Eat Google Video
Based on an interview with Google Search Products and User Experience VP Marissa Mayer, UberPulse.com is speculating that the search giant, which recently bought YouTube, will soon be killing its own Google Video service. The article points to the following statement by Mayer as evidence:"YouTube is clearly a better platform, it offers more choices [keeping a video private or public]. There are some hosting benefits on Google Video like uploading longer videos that we're trying to transfer over to YouTube. But I have the feeling YouTube will ultimately become the hosting, sort of social network site for videos."
Google Video won't completely go away, though. Mayer goes on to speak hypothetically about YouTube remaining the company's social networking solution to video and using Google Video as the way to search for specific videos on the Web.
Of course, though none of this terribly shocking, it's also not terribly confirmed.

Oh, how I enjoyed reading this article. This remains the most precise I've ever read about my comp; I love my new WinVista! It's so much easier than an XP that I had currently owned before and has so many new advantages/programs to ensure safety and security during your surfing days. I really REALLY recommend upgrading from XP to Vista!!!
