AT&T Says No iPhone Preorders

Were you hoping to get your hands on one of Apple's hotly anticipated iPhones on launch day? If so, you'll want a tent.

AT&T, which will be the first wireless carrier to offer the device in the U.S., has said it will not offer customers the opportunity to pre-order the iPhone. According to a leaked corporate memo, wait lists have also been banned, leaving you with no option other than getting in line with the rest of the masses on launch day (currently set around June 11).

However, with three out of four people saying they don't care about Apple's newest toy, a budget-mangling $499 price, and competition mounting, sleeping in may still be an option.
