2. Hamachi: Create Your Own Home Network -- Easily

So you want to configure a home network, but even just the thought of doing so gives you a bad case of techno-itis. Enter Hamachi, a "zero-configuration" virtual private networking (VPN) application for your PC. Translation: Hamachi allows you to very easily arrange all of your computers into their own secure home network, as if they were connected by physical network cables. This means you can share files and iTunes playlists with all of the computers on your home network, without knowing a thing about networking. Why it's called hamachi is anybody's guess – it doesn't even smell like fish!
