French Election Results Via Text Message

In France, the media is prevented from announcing election results until 20 hours after polls open. This is presumably to prevent election coverage from influencing the results (see: 2000 U.S. Presidential Election) and to keep wild speculation to a minimum. However, Frenchies love their election coverage almost as much as they love America bashing. So, for their upcoming presidential race, Swiss company Echovox SA has announced it will be sending out estimated results two hours early via text message to those who sign up at the Presidentielles.com. The Swiss company is able to circumvent French legislation because they're, well . . . Swiss.
