Attack of the Killer Cell-Phone Customer
Taking technology-induced rage to new heights, a man in Seoul, South Korea known only as "Kim" plowed his Mercedes S500 into the headquarters of his cell phone provider, SK Telecom, eariler this week. Previously, Kim, 47, had called the company 16 times to complain about his malfunctioning phone, and had visited the head office twice in person. Apparently, what set Kim off was an SK employee telling him that his phone could not be replaced and that he'd need to pay for a newer model.
According to witnesses, Kim parked his car in front of the building and placed signs on his windshield and rear window that read, "Delinquent SK." When a guard asked him to move the car, Kim reportedly said, "I'll move the car, but you should be careful." He then gunned the vehicle through the lobby's revolving door. Thankfully, the door and Kim's Mercedes where the only casualties reported.
