Are Your Gadgets Making You Sick? (2)

How to prevent or cure it: "If you're prone to breakouts, don't press the phone to your skin," advises New York Dermatology Group's founder Dr. David Colbert. "Wear an earpiece [or headset] if you can, or use a gentle cleanser on the phone before using it."

We just can't live in a bubble!!! Yes, germs are all over and if we eat sensibibly and get a lot of rest, our immunity will be up...and we can fight off sickness'. Let's not get so crazy!!! Life is too short to just worry and fear the germs out there. Just wash your hands after touching something that you believe could be full of germs, and keep your unwashed hands off of your mouth, eyes and nose. As far as technology, everything used in moderation is my belief!!! Don't overdo anything in general... Hey people stop bickering!! STRESS in general will harm more than all this crap i'm reading.

all in all, i think that most people's ailments are in their head. they hear about this or that causing something and instantly they have it too. acne isn't caused by cellphones...like how could it do it? you personal chemical makeup causes it, clogged pours cause it, the list goes on and i doubt a plastic cellphone can cause it. always wash your hands good, this way everyone will remain much healthier and when sick, stay home and stop spreading germs, bacteria, and viruses.

hey everyone, remember that if you use a germacide too often, it kills the good germs too. we need those good guys that really can kill the bad dudes. don't use antibacterial soaps too often, that's actually harmful.

You people are getting Whipped up Over Nothing. I beleive the next thing to panic over is E- Colie. How many 3rd world country people come over here who never ever have wash their hands AFTER THEY CRAPED. OR NEVER EVEN HAD BUTT WIPE. And now they are making our food. Wash your hands, thats our policy not theirs!

I believe Carol and Susanna are both right. There are "good" germs and "bad" germs.
All things in moderation...remember that wise old saying? It applies to us still. Anything overused will do some damage, whether it be anti-biotics or "bio-electronic-induced damage" (for lack of a proper term). A little dirt is necessary, and so is good hygiene. Over-cleaning sets up a potential zone for bacteria, etc. to mutate. Nastiness does too. Balance, friends, it's all about balance.
