The Flying Car - It's About Time
A flying car may sound like a pipe dream, but these guys are for real. They plan to have a working prototype in August followed by a final version in about five years. Powered by a 232-horsepower Mazda RX8 rotary engine, The GT Flyer will be licensed as a motorcycle as it sits on only three wheels. Porter and Kissell hope to win NASA's Personal Air Vehicle Centennial Challenge and turn the GT into every commuter's dream.

Reminds me of my dad's old Pop Sci magazines from the late 40's, with the rocket flying cars that were supposed to be around by now.
Where's my jet pack while we're at it :(
Oh yeah, I work from home, what do I care :)

There was a guy with a jet back on the nbc morning news today. Hate to think what kind of gas mileage that gets!

Yup. If we have flying cars, I wonder if there will be any pedestrian? I wouldnt walk outside unless there im in a No car-flying zone. If there is a crash or fetal malfunction, surviving percentage would probably be really low.
