OMG, Lohan Interviewed Via BlackBerry
Strange times we live in, where celeb text messages become print-worthy. The Washington Post has a report on a conversation with Lindsay Lohan that appears in the latest issue of GQ. Lindsay in GQ is of course nothing to get too excited about, but what's distinctive about this interview is that it was conducted entirely by Blackberry, with her thumbing in responses on the device's little keyboard. The result is a time-lapse discussion with the starlet that's about as interesting as those little boxes of text next to the photos of models wearing next season's fashions.
Like so many chats, GQ's Marshall Sella (who describes Lohan as "an icon of her generation") starts off by asking her what she's wearing. A titillating question in many situations, but not so here. Her response? "Here now wearing marc jacobs pumps and a kate and kass dress, vintage chanel messenger and topshop tights and peace sign earrings from kaviar and kind." Fascinating stuff, that; just as fun for you to read as it must have been for her to tap in all those product references.
